Dr. Andrea Batt has been passionate about the physical therapy profession since 1980. She initially became an LPTA in 1980, earned her BSPT in 1986 and her DPT in 2011. Over the years pediatric therapy became a special interest, with an emphasis on individuals with long term developmental disabilities across the age span and she was a board certified pediatric physical therapist from 2000 – 2020.
Cradle to Rocker provides PT services for kids and caregivers. She has strong hands on skills, but uses outcomes based/evidence based practice. Professionals who become specialists are shown to expand their clinical reasoning strategies, their use of reflective practice, emphasize patient empowerment and education, and individualize care.
Dr. Batt has provided outpatient PT services to individuals with short and long-term disabilities as well as educated patients, families, physicians, therapists and others about childhood development and developmental disabilities including CP. She has also provided home based services, worked in day habilitation centers, school systems and group homes. She has successfully treated people of all ages with a wide variety of issues from low back pain to post operative rehabilitation. All of her sessions are individual one:one intervention.
Dr. Batt recognizes the critical importance of collaborating with all therapy disciplines, educators, caregivers, DME providers, orthotists and medical specialists to ensure the best outcomes for her clients of any age.
